American Quilts: The Art and Story of a Nation

Gerald Roy of the Pilgrim/Roy Collection and Jennifer Swope, David and Roberta Logie Curator of Textiles at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, will discuss the history of quilting in America.

A beloved art form that has touched many lives since the founding of our nation, quilts continue to reflect the diversity, resourcefulness, and vision of their makers.

The talk will be illustrated with a selection of quilts from Gerald Roy’s collection.
